Heavy rainfall and hill runoff have worsened the flood situation in Banshkhali, Satkania, Chandanaish, and Boalkhali of Chattogram. Homes, roads and farmland have been submerged, leaving thousands of families stranded and in urgent need of food, clean water, shelter and medical assistance.

With water levels continuing to rise, many fear the situation could become one of the worst floods Bangladesh has experienced in the past years. Thousands of families have lost their homes and livelihoods, making urgent humanitarian assistance essential to prevent further suffering.

An Earthquake of 6.8 magnitude has struck the south of Marrakech and nearby areas in Morocco, claiming the lives of nearly 3,000 people and injuring more than 2,500. Sadly, the death toll is likely to rise as search and rescue continues with the hope of finding survivors.
